About CREATE Jobs
CREATE Jobs provides new routes into the arts and creative industries for young people in London's host boroughs, through:
Each strand fits the needs of particular groups, and is targeted at non-graduates from schools and job-centres in the Host-Boroughs (Greenwich, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Hackney or Barking & Dagenham)
To date some of the most innovative and interesting employers in the arts and creative industries have signed up to be part of the programme.
Starting in 2011 the programme is part of the surge of interest in East London as a result of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and uses London 2012 as a springboard of opportunity for hard to reach young people.
Through CREATE Jobs, we aim to bring a new cohort of young people into the arts and creative industries, and diversifying the workforce.
