What is a careers fair?

Careers fairs are a great way to gain an insight into the myriad of roles available in the creative and cultural industry.

All too easily careers fairs can become an arena of stands and an overload of information. We produce hands-on, informative events that showcase the best of what the industry has to offer. Previous events have seen performances, workshops and interactive information sessions.

They offer the chance to:

  • Gain a meaningful insight into the role available in creative and cultural industry
  • Experience hands-on, interactive sessions to get a real taste of what a career in the sector could offer
  • Meet professionals working in the creative and cultural sector and ask questions
  • Explore routes into employment

Schools or colleges wishing to attend just need to email us. We will work with you to make sure your students get maximum benefit from the event.

Who can attend a Careers Fair?

Young people aged between 14 and 18 from schools or colleges in the Host Boroughs (Newham, Greenwich, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Waltham Forest or Barking and Dagenham) and their teachers are invited to attend. 

Schools or colleges wishing to attend just need email us. We will work with you to make sure your students get maximum benefit from the event.

How can an employer take part?

Employers simply need to get in touch! We will work with you ensuring you have the support you need to develop a meaningful session and help to enthuse and motivate the next generation of creative talent. 

Employers such as Arts Admin, Biggafish, Bow Arts Trust, Mztek, Margaret London, Rolling Sound, Somethin’ Else, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Urban Development, Whitechapel Gallery, Young Film Academy amongst others have taken part in the past.
