Commercial Break are on the lookout for young working-class talent that wants to work in the advertising industry.
They're offering 2-month long paid placements in central London to work on a project for one of the biggest brands in the world.
And then, when those 2 months are up, they are offering additional 3-month paid placements with some of the best creative agencies in London.
People who’ve worked with Commercial Break in the past now have careers at top London agencies.
You’ll work with Commercial Break for 7 weeks from 18th February through to 5th April on a project for one of the biggest brands in the world.
That brand wants to connect with young people better, so during the 7 weeks, you’ll identify what that brand’s doing right and wrong currently, then you’ll tell them what they need to put it right. Finally, you’ll come up with creative ideas to help them connect better. And that creative idea could be anything from an award, to a product idea, to an advert – previous Commercial Breakers have done all these things and more. And all of this work will be created AND presented by you – including weekly meetings with the brand for you to put across your thinking. Add in industry experts helping you, a great central location, and London Living Wage, and you’ll have an amazing couple of months.
And then when your time with Commercial Break comes to an end, if you’ve shown an appetite for the industry, you’ll join one of their agency partners on placement. They’re agencies that specialise in different areas of the industry – advertising, social media influencers, design, events, PR, sports marketing and many more. These placements last for 3 months, and are also paid at London Living Wage. Previous Commercial Breakers have either had these extended, or in many cases had them converted into jobs. And CB have way more partner agencies than Commercial Breakers; that way they can ensure that they only place you somewhere that you really want to be.
All in all, you’ll spend minimum 5 months thinking creatively and getting paid for it. And by the end of it, you’ll have an amazing new career.
You don’t need qualifications for this opportunity. You don’t need experience. You just need to be interesting, and able to work in London from 18th February to 5th April
