Extra Nice x Create Jobs

We've partnered with It's Nice That to give young creatives free membership to Extra Nice

Extra Nice is It’s Nice That’s new membership to boost your creativity and get your hands on exclusive perks like monthly tickets to Nicer Tuesdays. Thanks to a private donation by Nalden, one of the original co-founders of WeTransfer and now the head of Adelee, we’re able to give out 150 free memberships to our Alumni as well as a free membership for every new person who joins Extra Nice up until 31 March through It’s Nice That’s new Pay it Forward scheme.

Here’s a bit more information on Extra Nice and who can benefit from the free memberships on offer.

Extra Nice is It’s Nice That’s membership scheme offering Supporters access to Extra Search, a new way to explore the It’s Nice That archive; Extra Perks, including tickets to It’s Nice That’s online events like Nicer Tuesdays and an exclusive fortnightly newsletter; and the Extra Nice Fund, a chance to give back to the creative community by putting 10% of your membership fee into a fund which will go towards a project focused on increasing diversity in our industry.

Extra Nice is ordinarily £65 for the year but thanks to a private donation, we’re able to offer our Alumni 150 free memberships plus another free membership for every new Extra Nice member who signs up before 31 March.

Our Alumni are the people who have completed one of our programmes. This could be STEP, Creativity Works, New Museum School or one of the Future Now courses. See all our programmes here.

Our Alumni network is made up of young people who are underrepresented in the creative sector. By partnering with Extra Nice and offering our Alumni free membership, we’re adding to our ways to support more people who are Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, disabled, neurodiverse and/or from low-socio-economic backgrounds into the creative sector and bring their voices to the forefront – a mission shared by It’s Nice That who have been long-time supporters of our work.

You can become a Create Jobs Alumni by completing one of our programmes. Find out more about our programmes here or subscribe to our newsletter to get the latest opportunities from us.

All Alumni will have been contacted about the scheme but if you’ve haven’t or you can’t find the email in your inbox, drop us an email at createjobs@anewdirection.org.uk and we’ll sort it out.
