Producing Assistant

Battersea Arts Centre

The role

Battersea Arts Centre has an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to undertake a 12 month work-based training placement as a Producing Assistant, with support from the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries Programme.

The programme is aimed specifically at recent graduates from low-income backgrounds who received full maintenance grants at university (graduating 2015, 2017 or 2017), and are looking to kick-start a career in the arts. This role will commence in the new year, and the person appointment will be part of a cohort of 40 placements based at arts organisations across the UK.

We are looking for a creative and confident graduate to work with producers and project managers on Cook Up; our regular seasons of theatre shows and live performances; and BAC Moving Museum; a strand of work encompassing performances, installations, workshops, tours and talks inspired by our building’s radical history, the BAC Archive and the Wandsworth Borough Collection.
